The Wedding of Alex + Vince

Almost 10 years ago, my sister and her husband trusted me to be the photographer at their wedding. I had never photographed a wedding and a 22-year-old me was definitely over confident.

To be honest, I was never happy with the photos I took back then. I think when you’re first starting off in photography it’s easy to be blind to the things that could use improvement, and I certainly was.

I have spent the last week with the RAW images from that day. Working to turn them into a set of photos I can be proud of, and that Alex and Vince can love for the rest of their lives.

I used to just take photos, but I think with these new edits, I am telling a story.
